Information for professionals
Tamba is primarily a parent support organisation. However, we do also offer information and training for health and education professionals. Tamba also has a team of Honorary Consultants from a wide range of professions, who are involved with research into multiple birth issues and who offer a referral service to multiple birth families with specific problems. To contact our Honorary Consultants please call the Tamba National Office.

We also have available, information packs for Health Visitors and Midwives. To order one of these packs, please email us with your name and address and which pack you would like.
Our more detailed series of parents' guides and our book sales will also be of interest to professionals with a particular interest in multiple birth families.
Midwives who are running, or hoping to start, ante-natal classes for expectant parents of multiples will find our new Parent Education Pack a particularly useful resource. The pack includes a video and teaching notes and costs just £40.
Occasionally Tamba members will donate their triple buggies free of charge to families in need and we also keep a list of second hand triple buggies for sale so if you are looking after a family expecting multiples it is worth contacting us about this. Tamba is unable to offer any kind of financial assistance.
Throughout the year we also run conferences and study days.
Tamba Education Study Day
Powerpoint slides from our recent Education Study Day are available for download.
We work closely with the Multiple Births Foundation which is the other UK organisation offering support primarily to health professionals working with multiple birth families.
