October 2008

Tamba Education Study Day

Tamba is holding an Education Study Day giving parents the chance to meet and quiz education experts on the development of their children.

If you have concerns about your children’s language skills, school places allocation, same or separate classes then book your place now.

The event is on Saturday, October 18 at Sherfield Manor School, Basingstoke, 10.30am-4pm. Lunch and refreshments are provided.

Our experts include

Janet O’Keefe, who specialises in speech and language development;

Anne Thomas, who will advise on starting school or nursery;

Pat Preedy, who advises on how physical movements affect learning ability; and

Diane Galloway who will talk about secondary school and beyond.

Tamba is seeking suggested donations from members of £25 (annual), £20 (Silver) and £15 (Gold). Non members: £50. (Rates also available for twins club group bookings).

Creche available at £10 per place.

Keith Reed, Tamba chief executive, said: “Thank you to GEMS for supporting the event by providing a venue. This is the only conference of its type for parents taking place so book now to avoid disappointment.”
